Comments:
The main slope that creates the highest ridge is 9:12. The ridge at that  slope is 30' above the finish floor of the house. If you changed the main slope to 6:12 the highest ridge would be just under 26' above the finish floor.

If the highest ridge has to be less than 26' above FINISHED GRADE  than the slope will have to be lowered more.
Two concerns:1. If you lower the main ridge than the slope of the double gable will have to be lowered too.2. 

​You like the house because of how it looks. Dropping the slope that much will really change the exterior look and you may be very disappointed.
